In Spring 2025, I was assigned a project to design an Olympic Bid of a city of our choice in an upcoming year. The city I chose was Madrid, Spain, 2040, because of it’s vibrant history and lively scenery.

An important aspect of this bid is the design. An Olympic Bid design needs to be versatile, iconic, and memorable. This design won’t necessarily be the final product, but simply an idea, to show the committee what the designers on the team have and what they’re capable of.

In my research, I found a lot of inspiration for Madrid. A city of color, culture, dance and history.
